Online and Mobile App trading Cyber Security Tips
We are committed to ensuring the security of your account. To increase the cyber security of your online or mobile app trading, please see the security tips below to learn how to protect your account when using online or mobile trading programs.
Secure login
1. Create a strong password and don't reveal it to others.
2. Change your password regularly, a high-intensity and difficult to hack password combination of at least 8 digits, letter case and symbol mix.
How to protect yourself from fraud
1. Always check email notifications from Cornerstone Securities for any unauthorized transactions.
2. If there is any change in your contact information, please let us know to update the relevant records to ensure that you can receive email notifications.
3. Never disclose to anyone, including those who claim to be cornerstone securities, the One Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile phone and Software Token password.
4. Please note that Cornerstone Securities does not require you to provide online login and personal information by e-mail, such as login account number, password, account information or mobile phone number.
5. Don't reply, press a suspicious link in an email or a third-party website, or open an unknown email attachment.
6. Beware of fake emails or phone messages sent by seemingly trustworthy organizations or individuals. If you receive an email or SMS that is suspected of being faked by Cornerstone Securities, please contact us to verify the identity of the sender.
7. Access Internet/ Mobile Trading App through secure and trusted computers and wireless networks.
8. Log off immediately after use.
9. Install firewall and anti-virus software, and ensure that your mobile software is always up-to-date. Do not use a mobile device that has been Jailbroken/Rooted.
